“I am Mr. India Manoj Patil, an Indian bodybuilder. Sahil Khan, an actor, has been targeting me and my nutrition shop on Instagram and other social media. Because of this, my family and I are suffering. I come from a middle-class background, and Sahil Khan is envious of my success. Many things have been said about me and my business online, and I’ve received threats about ending my career. He even came to my building, and I don’t know why. I am supposed to go to America to compete with Mr. Olympia, but he wants to ruin my career by taking advantage of the issues between me and my wife. My family is very troubled by all this; I am the only one earning in my family. My father is 65 years old and retired, and my mother is a housewife. These situations are pushing me towards suicide. If this continues, I might take drastic steps soon, and the government, police, and Sahil Khan will be responsible. Sahil has done similar things to 2-3 other athletes, and the details are at the Oshiwara police station. I am an Indian athlete, and if this can happen to me, what hope is there for an ordinary person?”
Sahil Khan denied the accusations in a press conference, stating,
“I have nothing to do with this case. It’s actually between Manoj Patil and a person named Raj Faujdar. First of all, committing suicide is illegal in India, and Manoj should know that. Raj has receipts showing transactions of Rs 2 lakhs with Manoj, not me. If I share on social media that you are selling drugs outside my house, can you say I’m bullying you? I just shared the truth that Raj Faujdar shared with me on my social media.”
He further explained, “It’s strange that Manoj didn’t mention Faujdar’s name. I only helped someone on social media and stood against selling steroids because it’s illegal here. What if someone had died from using expired steroids? This could be a publicity stunt with a different motive. I have no direct connection with Manoj, nor have I had any transactions with him.”
FIR Against Sahil Khan For Threatening Woman At Mumbai Gym
In April 2023, Sahil Khan faced legal trouble when a case was filed against him under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for defamation, issuing threats, and attempting to insult the modesty of a woman.
The complaint was lodged at the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai by a 43-year-old woman who regularly visits a gym in the Oshiwara area.
She claimed that Sahil Khan and another woman, with whom she had a financial dispute at the gym in February 2023, verbally abused and threatened her.
Mahadev Betting App Case
Actor Sahil Khan has been granted bail by a sessions court in the Mahadev betting app case filed by the Matunga police.
In his bail plea, Khan argued that the accusations against him were mostly speculative and lacked solid evidence.
