Ashwini began her career by appearing in Modelling and Dancing competitions where she performed at Pyate Hudgir Halli Life Season 3, Dance Jodi Dance, and Halliaydha Pyatege Bandha Season 2.
In 2021, Ashwini got the opportunity to make her debut in the Tamil Television Industry by playing the lead role of Meenakshi Karthik in Star Vijay’s romantic drama serial Namma Veetu Ponnu. The show was the remake of Khorkuto aired on Star Jalsha in 2020.
After gaining popularity, Ashwini got one more lead role in the drama soap opera Thangamagal as Hasini starring Yuvan Mayilsamy. The was released on 22 January 2024 and aired on Star Vijay and Disney Plus Hotstar.
