In the summer of 2013, Cruise started working as an erotic model and made her debut in the adult film industry that August. Her entry into the field came after she reached out to East Coast Talents, a Florida-based talent agency.

Despite her first agent’s suggestion to target older male audiences, she opted to market herself toward both male and female college students. In March 2014, she relocated to Los Angeles and, by June, had signed with the Spiegler Girls agency.
