Gur Sopal who was born on 07 December 2003 in Hargobind Pura, Sangrur, Punjab is a music producer. His father used to sing songs from the very beginning. His interest in music developed only after seeing his father. His father himself wanted his son to become a music director. In 2012 Gopal’s entire family shifted to Patiala, and his father started a recording studio in Patiala named (Sur Sangeet Recording Studio). His real journey started in 2018 as a music producer when he was in 9th class. His first official song was released on 18 June 2020 which was a Cover song (Gal Dil Di) and was sung by Kaur Simran. But that song didn’t get much response from others. After that, he started working harder. In 2021, when he was in his 12th class his family sent him to Chandigarh in Sound of Punjab Studio where he started doing mixing and mastering courses.
He took his mixing mastering classes from Sunny Nagra and with the help of Sunny Nagra, he gave his first super-duper hit song Dharna sung by Resham Singh Anmol. After that song, there was a lot of discussion among people about it. Then Gursopal came to be known as a younger music producer in India. After that, he released many hit songs like Punjab Bolda, Kanak Nu Paani, Maava’n Vs Delhiye, etc.
Gopal’s life had a lot of failures but because of his dedication, he stood up against all odds. Recently, many of his songs have been released whose names are (Forget, Excuses, Ehna Chauni Aa(Female Version), etc. Gursopal says that his journey has just started, he will work hard and he will bring his songs as per the choice of the people.
