On 8 December 2023, Lakshmika passed at the age of 24 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. According to sources, she died due to a sudden heart attack.

Lakshmika Sajeevan is an actress who has been active in Malayalam cinema since 2018. Some of her early roles were in films like Panchavarnathatha in 2018 where she played the character Sreekala, as well as roles in Oru Kuttanadan Blog and Nithyaharitha Nayakan the same year.
In 2019, Lakshmika acted in the film Ilayaraja, followed by playing Lallu’s Mother in Oru Yamandan Premakadha and an Air Hostess in the movie Uyare. Her career continued in 2021 with lead roles in the short film Kaakka.
In the short film Kaaka, Lakshmika played the role of a dark-skinned girl Panchami who is neglected by her family. Her excellent acting in this emotional role was praised by both critics and viewers. The movie was released on 14 April 2021 and was streamed on the Neestream platform. It quickly became very popular, with over 6 million views.
In November 2023, Lakshmika Lakshmika took on the role of a Lady Police Officer in the film Koon which was released on 10 November 2023.
