Rinku Ghosh was born on 30 August 1981 in West Bengal, India. She started her acting journey with the 2000 Bengali film “Jai Maa Durga,” where she starred alongside renowned actors Deboshree Roy, Arun Govil, and Abhishek Chatterjee.
Her talent crossed regional boundaries as she made her Telugu debut in “Raave Na Chaliya” alongside co-actor Sai Kiran in 2001. In 2003, she appeared in multiple films, including “Tumse Milke Wrong Number” and “Koi Hai.”
Rinku Ghosh entered the world of Bhojpuri cinema in 2004 with her first motion picture, “Suhagan Bana Sajna Hamaar.” In 2005, she worked in the Hindi film titled “Mumbai Godfather.”
Her filmography continued to expand with roles in movies like “Daroga Babu I Love You,” “Balidaan,” “Saat Saheliyan,” “Rakhwala,” and “Nagina.”
Apart from films, Rinku began her television career with the serial “Durgesh Nandinii,” where she played the lead role, and it was telecast on Sony TV in 2007.
She further showcased her talent as the main antagonist in “Mohe Rang De.” Her performance in “Ek Safar Aisa Kabhi Socha Na Tha” in 2009 was well-received.
